Vegan Black Forest Gateau [Picture] [Print]
A vegan delight that reminds your taste buds of good old days!
Ingredients Preparation

Base:

225 g wholemeal whear flour
25 g soy flour
160 g raw cane sugar
50 g ground hazelnuts
2 tbsp. cocoa powder, fully defatted
2 tsp. baking powder
˝ tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
100 ml cooking oil
230 ml soy milk


Füllung:

1 jar morello cherries
as well as cake glaze, clear
Soyatoo! soy whip
Mix all the dry ingredients for the base. Add oil and soy milk and mix with a beater

Decoration as desired: chocolate hail, chocolate flakes, cherries...

Put the dough in a lightly greased 24cm springform pan and bake in circulating heat at about 180°;C for 35-40 minutes.

Let the cake cool and cut into two layers with a knife.

Lay the lower half on a cake platter in a cake ring, cover with a jar of drained cherries. Then prepare a sachet of clear cake glaze according to instructions and pour over the cherries.

After cooling whip a pack of Soyatoo! soy whip. Remove the cake ring and finely spread the whip on the cherries. add the second cake half and spread the cake with the rest of the cream.

Strew the cake with vegan chocolate hail and refrigerate before serving!
